One of the other sites I recommend is at LoopASonic. This site appeals just for the ease of use and seems to specialize in a wide range of studio instruments.
It cleanly separates samples into a wide range of select categories like keyboards, percussion guitars and orchestral. It also offers many samples which are hard to find like ethnic specific instruments.
This site offers a range of services and the option of also sound recording of the desired sample and the purchase of the sound recording equipment. The site is full of specific information including demos for the Yamaha series.
This loop and sample site has a no nonsense set up and is excellently presented.
